King Carl the Cool is the pursuit of a distinct dream, where Royalty and Rock n Roll collide.

Max is a young neuro-diverse man from Melbourne who, over the last five years, has written to and received over 150 letters from Royal families across the world.

The Royal who has particularly captured his attention has been King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden. To honour King Carl, Max, with the help of his band mates, wrote a rock song (in the chords of C and G) and titled it: KING CARL THE COOL.

This documentary follows the challenges and triumphs of Max and his family as they travel to Stockholm with the bold dream of meeting the King. Through the unique perspective of Max, we witness the courage and passion of someone who is willing to give it all for a dream.
